Lawrence Technological University is the winner of the Live 5 Challenge drawing among the 50 NAIA institutions whose student-athletes completed the Learn to Live 5 online character training before March 1.

Now might be the time for the 670,000-square-footTowne Square office complex in Southfield to get its third building, which would make it one of the largest office complexes in metro Detroit.
Southfield-based Redico LLC — which manages and owns Towne Square, northeast of Northwestern Highway between Civic Center Drive and Lahser Road — is considering a 300,000- to 350,000-square-foot build-to-suit tower now that the two existing buildings in the complex have occupancy rates in the mid- to upper 90 percents, said Dale Watchowski, CEO, COO and president of Redico. read more

The Texas-based Flatlands Dance Theatre will perform “Ordinary Wars,” which explores the personal experiences of American women, on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at Lawrence Technological University (LTU), 21000 West 10 Mile Road, Southfield.
The performance, which is free and open to the public, will be in the Mary E. Marburger Science and Engineering Auditorium in LTU’s Science Building. A reception and audience talk-back session will follow the performance.
Randall J. Peck is the newest addition to the Technology & Intellectual Property Practice Group of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.
Peck concentrates his practice in worldwide patent preparation and prosecution, as well as on freedom-to-operate opinion work, primarily for clients in the chemical arts. His practice includes pre-litigation counseling, portfolio management, patent strategy and post-issuance validity challenges. A chemical engineer by training, he focuses on silicones, adhesives, gels, resins, thin films, nanotechnologies, medical devices, wood products and other chemical compositions and processes.
