The 2014 Regional Storm Water Summit hosted by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, Pure Oakland Water and Lawrence Technological University (LTU) will be held at on Friday, Oct. 3, on the university’s campus, 21000 West 10 Mile Road, Southfield.
Government, industry, and community stakeholders in southeast Michigan will share information on the latest technologies, new rules, and collaborative efforts around storm water issues.
The $20 registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the concluding remarks are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. For information and online registration, click on the events tab at www.oakgov.com/water/. Registration is limited to 300.
The summit will be convened by Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash and LTU President Virinder Moudgil. The keynote speaker will be Kevin Shafer, executive director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.
