Two partners from Warner Norcross & Judd LLP have been elected to serve on the governing council of the State Bar of Michigan Environmental Section.
Dennis J. Donohue has been selected to serve a two-year term as secretary-treasurer and Steven C. Kohl has been selected to serve a two-year term as a committee member. The Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan provides education, information, and analysis about environmental concerns through meetings, seminars, public service programs, their website and publication of the Michigan Environmental Law Journal.
Both Donohue and Kohl are members of the firm’s Resources, Energy and Environment Practice Group. Donohue concentrates his practice on issues ranging from mining to water to hazardous waste while Kohl focuses his practice on air and air quality issues.
Warner Norcross partner Kurt M. Brauer, also a member of the practice group, completed his term as chair of the council on Sept. 30.
