A celebration of LTU alumni, heavy involvement in the Detroit Month of Design celebration in September, and plenty of other events will mark Fall Semester 2026 at Lawrence Technological University.

LTU’s Homecoming Week runs Sept. 24-27, with an alumni tailgate beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, followed by a football matchup with Judson University at 1 p.m. There’s also a 25th reunion on Sept. 26 for the class of 2001. Leading up to Homecoming, a 50th reunion for the Class of 1976 will be held Friday, Sept. 18, and the annual Jubilee for all alumni of more than 50 years ago is Saturday, Sept. 19. And the LTU College of Engineering will induct the latest member of its Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 25. LTU’s College of Architecture and Design is observing Detroit Month of Design with several September events. Included will be a Sept. 24 on-campus panel discussion on the process behind CoAD’s national award-winning student designs. An LTU-curated exhibition of auto art also runs Sept. 11 through Oct. 30 in the new Hudson’s Detroit building downtown.
CoAD stays busy with an Oct. 1 lecture from Assistant Professors Quan Thai and Teng Teng, PhD, on advanced construction and design technologies. And on Oct. 9, renowned architect Harold Remlinger will offer his design ideas as he accepts the LTU Distinguished Architecture Alumni Award. And from Oct. 19-24, LTU will host the annual global conference of the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture, or ACADIA. More at 2026.acadia.org.
