Join Southfield firefighters, professional climbers and novices as you climb as many floors as desired or set a goal to reach either the 14th or 28th floor at your own pace.
The GOA – Michigan Chapter Stepping Up Stair Climb is a unique, challenging fitness event in which participants climb stairs in a test of endurance. Whether climbing to improve timing or to simply reach new heights, this event is a great way to spend the morning with co-workers, friends and family in support of helping to bring children and loving families together.

The celebration of America’s 250th continues with the American Revolution display in the Tower Lobby of the Southfield Public Library. This impressive collection features, figurines, household items, toys, weapons, arrow heads, clothing and much more.
Continue the celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence by reading a book set in each of the 50 states. Earn small prizes as you read across the country and enter the grand prize drawing when you finish all 50 states.
