The Southfield State of the City address will be delivered by Mayor Brenda L. Lawrence on Monday, March 18 at the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting at the Westin Hotel.

Lawrence Technological University (LTU), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and DENSO are joining the Chamber in sponsoring the event. LTU President Virinder K. Moudgil, who has been actively cultivating the relationship between his school and the City of Southfield, will introduce the Mayor. The State of the City address will give business owners, community members, and officials an opportunity to network. read more

The City of Southfield Police and Fire Departments recently launched the Southfield Safe Streets Pledge, a new, proactive approach to public safety designed to enhance the traditional concept of responding to 911 calls.

It’s the annual event that unveils all the city’s changes, plans and hopes for the coming year. Mayor Brenda Lawrence will deliver the address during the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting.
