The law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP today announced that James B. Cunningham and Jeena S. Patel have been named partners.
James Cunningham
Cunningham and Patel are two of nine Warner Norcross attorneys to be named partner. The new partners practice in a variety of areas, from estate and tax planning to general litigation and corporate law. They serve clients across the state and around the world from the law firm’s offices in Southfield, Macomb County, Grand Rapids and Lansing.

Cunningham concentrates his practice in commercial loan transactions, commercial mortgage-backed securities, complex corporate transactions and securities laws. Cunningham is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Macomb County Bar Association. He practices in the firm’s Macomb County office.
He holds an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University magna cum laude and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Michigan cum laude.
Jeena Patel
Patel focuses her practice focuses on automotive supplier issues and litigation, with an emphasis on commercial contract disputes, supply chain dispute resolution, pricing disputes, breach of warranty claims, terms and conditions disputes and related matters. She practices in the firm’s Southfield office.
Patel is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan. She holds an undergraduate degree with honors and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Michigan.
